I am a PhD candidate in Business for Society (Finance track) and a Research Fellow at the University of Milano-Bicocca. My research studies financial capability and literacy. I see financial knowledge as the foundation, and I study how self-efficacy and access to financial options help translate it into action.
My work combines large-scale survey data, including the OECD/INFE surveys, with field interventions. I have evaluated a game-based financial education program in Italian elementary schools with one of the major italian banks, and I study how financial literacy shapes entrepreneurs’ use of alternative finance.
I have been a visiting research fellow at Nyenrode Business University and at the University of Vaasa, and I am a member of the G53 Rising Scholars Network. I also designed and teach a financial education program for high school students in Milan.
